Mark Underwood is a neuroscience researcher that has worked to identify the fundamental factor in the aging process and age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Mark has also written: Gift from the Sea: How a Protein from Jellyfish Fights the Aging Process. Mark’s own family struggle with the diseases of the brain was one of the inspirations that motivated him to write this book and he explains why brain cells die and the research that proves certain proteins can help.
