Buckminster Fuller’s Daughter Allegra Snyder speaks about her father’s many contributions

Allegra Snyder is the daughter of R. Buckminster Fuller who was an inventor, architect, engineer, mathematician, poet and cosmologist. Today Allegra will be speaking about her father’s many contributions including his dedication to ending poverty, hunger, and malnutrition throughout the world. Fuller was also one of the earliest proponents of renewable energy sources-solar (including wind and wave)-which he incorporated into his designs, specifically the invention of the geodesic dome-one of the lightest, strongest, and most cost-effective structures ever devised.
