Guest Highlight: Judith Martin
Aurah’s Marc Dold & Judith Martin met as teenagers in the dusky basement rehearsal rooms of the local music scene in Switzerland where they grew up. Martin went on to study jazz while Dold earned a degree in classical guitar from a Swiss conservatory. Soon after, they left Europe for Boston where they furthered their studies at the Berklee College of Music. Dold and Martin formed Aurah after the release of their first album, “Judith Martin.” Around the same time, Dold joined forces with an American music producer to form the producing team, Swiss American Federation (SAF). The team scored two #1 Billboard hits with Enya’s “Only Time,” which became a 9/11 anthem, and Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come,” the title of her Las Vegas show and album. www.aurah.com
