Guest Highlight: Dr. Vandana Shiva
Dr. Vandana Shiva is a physicist, world-renowned environmental thinker and activist, and a tireless crusader for economic, food and seed preservation. She’s the author of many influential books, including Making Peace with the Earth, Soil Not Oil, Staying Alive, Stolen Harvest, and Globalization’s New Wars. In 1991 she founded Navdanya, a national movement to protect the diversity and integrity of living resources – especially native seed – and to promote organic farming and fair trade.
