The Codex Alimentarius Commission on Nutrition and Foods is in the process of compiling guidelines which will regulate vitamins, minerals, nutritional supplements, etc. The current direction of the document, “Guidelines for Vitamin and Mineral Food Supplements,” is much more restrictive then the corresponding rules and regulations in the United States. Today’s panel discussion on this topic will feature Dr. Majid Ali, Dr. Carolyn Dean, Dr. Bahram R. Shahmardaan, and Trueman Tuck.
