Joining Lisa today is leading neurobiologist and co-director of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center Dr. Daniel Siegel as well as the other co-director Diana Winston. They discuss Dr. Siegel’s book The Mindful BrainĀ and dive further into what is meant by ‘mindful awareness’ which they define as “paying attention to present moment experiences with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to be with what is.” It’s an excellent antidote to the stresses of modern times.
